At Ebby Halliday, Realtors, it’s a year of football-themed celebrations for our 65th anniversary. We’re already an official sponsor of the North Texas Super Bowl XLV Host Committee and now we’re proud to announce our Touchdown Sponsorship of the Third Annual Blondes vs. Brunettes powder-puff football game on August 14.
That’s right – two all-female teams, one comprised of blondes and the other of brunettes, battling it out on the football field to benefit Alzheimer’s research.
Founded by sisters whose father was afflicted by Alzheimer’s, BvB was brought to Dallas in 2008 by Erin Finegold, who now serves as chairman of the event. In its first year, BvB Dallas raised more money than any other BvB city and to date, they have raised more than $210,000 for the Alzheimer’s Association of Greater Dallas.
This year, the group is planning to raise $165,000 with a game day attendance of more than 1,000 fans. That’s an optimistic goal, but we have no doubt this talented group of young professionals will score another touchdown for this worthy cause.
Speaking of young professionals, we’re proud to have one of our very own, Jenn Thompson of the Ebby Douglas Avenue office (pictured at the top of this post), returning this year as quarterback for the undefeated Team Blonde!

So far this year, BvB Dallas has already raised almost $40,000 for the Alzheimer’s Association of Greater Dallas. To make a donation or learn more, visit BvBDallas.org.
